Corporate Social Responsibility

As a corporate citizen, Mitrajaya is committed to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility. Over the years, we have been continuously making contributions and sponsorships to various charitable and social organisation events.

Through the auspices of our Sports Club, Mitrajaya has engaged civil society in a number of tangible ways - visits to orphanages, homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Sports Club also promotes the culture of 'Work Smart, Play Hard' amongst for our staff by organising sport activities, excursion trips and family day carnivals amongst others. The Club remains a good conduit to enhance the well-being of our employees and fostering a strong team spirit.

Driven Together: SRC Go-Kart Activity 2026

The SRC Go-Kart Activity 2026 was successfully held on 23 May 2026 at X-Park Sunway Serene, with a total of 23 participants. The event brought SRC members together through a fun and exciting racing experience while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and stronger bonds among employees. Participants were divided into groups and had the opportunity to compete in several friendly racing sessions throughout the day. The activity created an energetic and lively atmosphere as employees cheered one another on and enjoyed the thrill of the races. Beyond the competitive aspect, the event also encouraged communication, collaboration, and stronger interpersonal relationships among colleagues from different departments. Overall, the event was successfully carried out and received positive feedback from participants.

Trip to Jeju Island

The Mitrajaya Sports & Recreational Club organised a subsidised 4D3N trip to Jeju Island from 30 April 2026 to 4 May 2026, involving 23 staff members. The trip aimed to promote team bonding, strengthen relationships, and enhance collaboration among employees. Participants enjoyed Jeju's scenic attractions, Korean cuisine, and cultural activities such as wearing hanbok and making kimbap. They also explored local products, including seaweed, ginseng, green tea, and cosmetics. Overall, the trip was a great success, offering a well-balanced experience of relaxation, cultural exposure, and team building.

ATV Adventure

The Mitrajaya Sports & Recreational Club brought together 20 outdoor and extreme sports enthusiasts for an exhilarating adventure in Kampung Kemensah. Participants took on a challenging three-hour off-road journey aboard four-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), navigating through lush fruit orchards and rugged jungle trails. The experience culminated at the serene Sofea Jane Waterfall, where participants had the opportunity to unwind amidst nature after an adrenaline-filled ride. The event delivered a perfect balance of excitement and scenic exploration, leaving participants with a memorable experience and a strong desire for more future adventures.

Celebrating Hari Raya with the Elderly

In celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Mitrajaya carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) visit to Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas, where contributions in the form of essential items, duit raya, and a cash donation of RM2,000 were presented. The centre provides care and support for elderly residents, ensuring their daily needs and well-being are properly attended to. The team received a warm welcome from the caretakers and residents upon arrival. As part of the programme, groceries and household items were handed over to support daily needs, followed by a visit around the facility and a friendly interaction session with the residents. The distribution of duit raya added to the festive spirit, bringing joy and smiles to everyone present. Through this initiative, Mitrajaya hopes to foster a sense of togetherness and share the blessings of Hari Raya, while contributing to the comfort and happiness of the residents at Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas.

Mitrajaya Festive Gathering 2026

The Mitrajaya Holdings Berhad Festive Gathering 2026 was held on 8 April 2026 at Mitrajaya HQ, Puchong, bringing together approximately 140 employees to celebrate Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The event commenced with welcoming remarks by our Managing Director, Bibhuti Nath Jha, and our Group Managing Director, Tan Eng Piow, who expressed their appreciation for the dedication and contributions of Mitrajaya employees.

The gathering provided an opportunity for colleagues from various departments to connect and celebrate in a warm and festive atmosphere, reflecting the company's commitment to fostering unity, appreciation, and a strong sense of togetherness within the Mitrajaya family.

Chinese New Year 2026 – Festive Lion Dance Performance (HQ)

Mitrajaya Holdings Berhad celebrated Chinese New Year 2026 with a lively Lion Dance Performance at its Headquarters. While the traditional luncheon was not held due to the close timing with Ramadan, colleagues gathered to enjoy the vibrant lion dance — a cherished tradition symbolising prosperity, good fortune, and positive energy for the year ahead.

The rhythmic beats of the drums, the dynamic movements of the lions, and the cheerful mascot filled the workplace with excitement and festive cheer, creating a joyful atmosphere for all. May 2026 bring continued success, good health, and happiness to everyone. Gong Xi Fa Cai!

CSR Engagement with Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih OKU Selangor

Mitrajaya Holdings Berhad continued its CSR efforts with a visit to Persatuan Kebajikan OKU Selangor as part of its Chinese New Year outreach programme.

During the visit, Mitrajaya donated essential groceries to Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih OKU Selangor, a welfare home that cares for 31 residents with disabilities, supported by four dedicated caretakers. This contribution aimed to support the home's daily living requirements and bring joy to its residents during the festive season. Mitrajaya hopes that this gesture will help alleviate some of the home's operational burden while reinforcing the importance of compassion, inclusivity, and community care. As a responsible corporate citizen, Mitrajaya is committed to supporting communities and fostering positive change that endures.

Celebrating the Season with Persatuan Insan Istimewa Cheras Selangor (PIICS)

Mitrajaya Holdings Berhad organised a CSR programme at Persatuan Insan Istimewa Cheras Selangor in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.

In the spirit of giving and sharing during the festive season, Mitrajaya contributed RM3,000 in cash to support the association's daily operational needs. This contribution reflects Mitrajaya's ongoing commitment to supporting community welfare initiatives and uplifting organisations that provide meaningful assistance to individuals with special needs. Through this initiative, Mitrajaya hopes to ease the association's financial responsibilities while spreading festive cheer and positivity among its members.
